My own first experience of Reiki and
Seichem was at a talk being given by a healer. When I felt the heat from the healer’s
hands I was impressed, when she went on to offer healing to several more people without
tiring herself I was absolutely fascinated. For the first time In my life I
was absolutely sure there was 'something else out there' I was so excited
I booked straight onto the course....I wanted to be able to offer healing
to people around me and went on to be initiated into Tera Mai Reiki &
Seichem. I later realised that the
energy I was channeling was working on me on many levels, helping to heal my
mind (emotional), body (physical) and spirit
(a part of us we seem to lose in our material world). It worked when I put
my hands on myself or on other people.....I could feel it flowing... I was

About Wendy I began my own emotional healing training when studying Councelling at Vaughan College in Leicester. Like many people going to study this subject, I was drawn there by a wish to understand more about others, and a need to understand myself and my reactions to my past experiences. As I learnt about emotional healing I gained more understanding of other people’s and my own reactions to stress, loss and trauma in their lives. By allowing my clients to explore their past I began to help them to release anger and resentment. Giving them more control over their own lives and helping them to begin to look forward, towards a brighter future. I also realised that I am linked to those around me and yet separate and can now support others on their journey without the need to rescue them. Two of my favorite things for making emotional changes are still 'Inner Child Work' (John Bradshaw 'Homecoming') and the 'Gratitude Journal' More lately I find the 'Conversations With God, books are a bit heavy going but seem to make deep changes within. I also like the book 'Self Matters' by Phillip C. McGraw. I have now trained as an NLP Master Practitioner - this has a lovely philosophy of acceptance of others and self behind it and allows me to use tools for emotional healing that are really powerful. My first love however will always be the Reiki, because with it's spiritual element it can work miracles in people's lives. Hinckley, Leicestershire, Midlands (10 minutes
